A Small Rant about Remote Tech Support

I’ve been in the Tech Support field for over 15 years, and my new job is the first time I’ve ever really had to support an all-remote team.

It really takes what you’ve been doing for your entire career, and throws it completely out the window.

Especially now, in the middle of a pandemic when places that you’d normally send users to (i.e. Apple Stores) are closed.

I literally just told our Creative Director to use a hair dryer to blow out her keyboard because one of the keys are sticking, and she (obviously) didn’t have compressed air (because who does?)…
