What the hell is wrong with men using the urinal in the bathroom? It’s called urinal ettiqute, people!

Seriously, when there are two urinals and two toilets, and one of the urinals are being used but the toilets are not, why the FUCK do you find the need to come and pee right next to me? Take the extra effort to close the door and lift the seat!

I’m not going to take it anymore. I’m tired of being the guy that shows everyone respect when they’re peeing. So, from now on, if some douchebag decides to do this, I’m gonna do one of two things…I’m either going to turn and pee on them, or just stop in a huff, say something like “Ok, fine. I’ll go pee somewhere else!”.

Ok, that’s all. This has just been happening WAY too much lately for me not to say anything.

I seem to have a lot of time to actually do some work on it, but every single time I go to write something, I totally lose interest.

Anyway, I’ve been thinking a lot about writing about music and movies. Kinda like a Zak on Films/Music type deal? I know I’ve started the ZaxTrax blog, and am moving it here to consolidate all of my sites, so I’ll probably incorporate something like ZaxFlix, although that doesn’t sound as sexy.

I’m also in the midst writing a screenplay. It’s my first one, and I have no clue what I’m doing. Sure, I wrote a couple when I was at CoC, but those were only shorts. This is supposed to be a feature. I’m scared…Someone hold me. It sure has been a LONG time since I’ve updated this blog.

I’ve got a lot to report, but I don’t think I’m going to share it.

For those of you that care, you already know what’s going on. For those that don’t, you don’t need to know.

With that out of the way, I hope to actually be using this blog more in the next coming days/weeks/months/years. I know I always say that, but this time I really mean it!

I’m going to combine a couple of ideas I had for a couple of other sites (Zax Trax, Surf Chaos, etc) and put them all here. It just makes life easier on me, and on you all too (one stop shop, you know…).

For a long time, I’ve been a huge supporter of Bit.ly, however in light of some new security risks, I’ve decided to keep everything on my semi-private server.

So, from now on you’ll see links starting with http://links.zakwinnick.com/ and then (more than likely) a custom short name. For example, the one I created for this site is:

- I’m going to start the podcast back up. I’ve got some really interesting ideas, and I need a new creative outlet since I’ve been feeling more creative lately.

- I’m going to start writing a weekly blog about music called Zax Trax. For those of you that follow me on the Twitters, you’ll notice I’ll usually post an album of the day with the hashtag #zaxtrax. I figured I like music, and I’m a pretty good writer/reviewer, so why not?

- You’re going to see a lot more posting on here (not just because of the podcast and Zax Trax). I think I need to start doing something with my downtime, and I’d like to use this site to help me.

Setec Astronomy.

My amazing web hosting company, Dreamhost, allowed me to transfer the registration from GoDaddy to them for free (That’s what I get for being a member since 2007). It literally took less than 20 minutes from when I started the transfer until the site was live again! Magical!

Anyway, everything is back to how it was, and now things should be a bit better on this end.

I’m very excited I saved $80 and I get an extra year on the domain for free!

Oh Lord, I’ve done it again. I’ve got and started another podcast that I’ll probably never follow through with.

This one’s called Channel Z with Zak Winnick. It’ll probably be updated a lot since I think I’d like to stick with it.

It’s hosted by an awesome company called Mevio. It was started by Adam Curry, and it provides free podcast hosting. Plus, it’s pretty awesome to help get everything setup in the iTunes Podcast Store too.

Anyway, look out for the new episodes to be posted here on the site, as well as in iTunes. It’s being reviewed overthere right now, so it should be a couple of days. I’m not worried…

I’ve been struggling for some sort of concept of this site. I’ve owned this domain name for as long as the internet has been around, and have never really done anything with it. I always sit down with the best intentions for it, but never seem to follow through with anything that I plan.

Perhaps, now that there is a new chapter in my life starting, I should return to the basics and just start taking care of this site like it’s part of my (not so) daily life.

We’ll see. I need a new creative outlet like I need another hole in my ass (although, that would be pretty sweet…two assholes?). Who knows? Maybe this will turn into something cool. Maybe it’ll just turn out to be a complete waste of my time.

I could always blog about what I know…Technology, food, sex, dogs, movies. But everyone does that. Maybe my life is just fucked up enough to put a unique perspective on it. But, really…Is it worth it? Am I good enough? Smart enough? Do people really like me?

Who knows, and who cares. Look at the name on this site. It’s mine, bitches. If you don’t like it, there’s a corner. Go fuck yourself.
